CONCERT AT TALBOTS HOME

The monthly concert organised by the members of the Dunedin South branch of the New Zealand Labour Party was held in Talboys Home last week, and an enjoyable programme was arranged. The following items were given:—Mrs Lee (violin solo), Mr Restieux, Mr Ramsay. Miss A. Steedman, Mrs Lee (songs) Miss A. Steedman and Mr Restieux (duet), Misses Rachel Anderson, Eva Burnard. June Outsell, Lilian Jameson, Shirley Smith, June Smith, and Mr Allan Dodd (dancing), Mr Ramsay (banjo-mandolinl, and Mr F. R. Christiansen (pipe selection). Mrs McKay was the accompanist, and at the conclusion of the items Mrs Nash thanked the performers. Much enthusiastic preparation has been made for the presentation of the Kindergarten Students' Handwork Display, which is to be held in the Kelsey Yaralla Kindergarten to-morrow afternoon. These annual displays have aroused much interest among friends of the kindergarten.
