ANNUAL CLUB SOCIAL The annual smoke social and presentation of prizes and trophies of the Taieri Anglers’ Club was held at Mosgiel on Saturday night. In the absence of the president, Mr H. North presided. Greetings were received from the Alexandra Club through Mr M. Barratt, a former member of the Taieri Club. ... A welcome was extended to the visitors, Messrs J. A. Miller and O’Fee. representing the Otago Acclimatisation Society, and Messrs Mitchell and Kane, Dunedin Anglers’ Club. A toast list, interspersed with items, was honoured.
