: * • A. O. F. le I The quarterly meeting of Court Jutt" j lius, No. 9866, of Waikanae, was held j last Monday (25th inst), C. R. Bro. Nielsen being in the chair. Two visiting brothers were present, P.C.R. Bro. Melntyre, of Court Pongaroa, No. 8779, l I and Bro. Green, of Court Mauricevillc . ! West. One new member was proposed ■ and initiated that night by C. B. Bro. Neilsen, ably assisted by P.C.R. Bro. . Melntyre. Two letters were read re the death of D. T. Bro. Shapcott, of Court Loyal Northland. It was proposed that the Secretn-ry be instructed to send a letter of sympathy to the Secretary of Court Loyal Northland. A * motion of sympathy was also passed I '" to the- Bro*. Askew and relatives re the death of their brother, Mr J. Askew. It is with regret that the Lodge is ' losing one of its ablest and most energetic members, Bro. Cox, who is leaving for some considerable time. The now officers arc as under:—C.R. Bro. 1 Bulliman, S. W, Bro. Kemsley, S. B. Bro. Barrett, S. C. R. Bro. Campion, J. ' W. Bro. Hooper, J. B. Bro. Bishop. The new officers were duly installed by C. R. Bro. Bulliman, ably assisted by P. C. R. Bro. Neilsen. P. C. R. Bro. Neilsen for the way that he got f the Court together by travelling the country on crutches to get the members together. It was proposed that P. C. K. Bro. Neilsen be presented with a. sash and certificate, and also with a framed photograph.
