Loss of a Ketch.
Port Chalmers, to-day.— The ketch Alice < Jane, with a cargo of timber, while sail- 1 ing into the Heads grounded, and be- 1 came waterlogged. It is feared she will 1 become a total wreck. The vessel is owned i in Lyttelton, and commanded by the owner v 1 The ketch Alice Jane, which ran ashore < at the Heads, was not insured, but her I cargo is supposed to be cohered.
