The steamship Mur .v? leaves on this morning's tide for Nelson, weather permitting. Tho s.s. Clyde went down the river at 5 o'clock yesterday atteruooa with the passengers and cargo for tho Rangatirn, hut tho liar beini? dangerous the latter vessel was unable to proceed to sea. She will sail to-niglifc, at 5 o'clock. TTe-terday morning six steamers wero moored alongside tho wharf — namely, tho Osprey, Murray, Mauawatu, Wallabi, Clyde, and Wakatn. There was also ono schooner, tho Awaroa. At the same tinio the Raugatira and the ketch Annie were ying in tho stream. The Clyde, which occupied a berth outside tho Wakatu during Wednesday night, started at an early hour for the purpose of tendering tile Eangatira, which had just arrived fro ji Wellington. The state of the bar, owing to tho heavy weather, prevented the steamers which had. cleared from sailing for thoir various destinations.
