O.i night of general entries for ]885 meeting, and 5 soys. at the post; one and a-half miles ; nominations for the above race close on Saturday, 21st January, 1882. KULES. No entry will be received for any race except upon this condition, That all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by a majority of the Stewards present, or those whom they may appoint. Their decision upon all points connected with the carrying out or the programme shall be final. (2) All entries to be sealed and addresse i to the Hon. Secretary, Bulls, entrance money enclosed, with the name, age at time of entry, pedigree, and in case of Handicaps per" formances of the horse, name of the owner, nnd colours of the rider. (3) Any jockey riding except in the colours entered will he fiued 2 vova. (4) When two or more horses start the property of the same owner a distinguishing colour must be worn. (5) All races to bo run und<r the W.JC. Rules (6) Horses walking over will only receive half the stakes. (7) Quaiißcation fee for non-members, 1 soy. (8) In all race 3 the second horse only saves his stakes when it is specially mentioned. (9) No entiy or nomination will be received after the time specified lor closing. Letters bearing the post-mark of date of entry, and telegrams of same date, will be received.
