WANGANUI EGONOMIG BUILDING SOCIETY.
DRAWING THE SOCIETY'S THIR- ' TEENTH BALLOT. The above Society held their. thirteenth ballot in the Christ Churoh Schoolroom last evening. There was a very, large at-, tendance of members. Mr R. N. Gatenby, chairman of directors, presided. Messrs F.I Moffatt and'B. Baddeley were appoin-, ted scrutineers, and Mrs A. Price kindly drew the marbles. The' first number drawn was 572, owned by Mr Jas. C; Richard■tttsti!, storekeeper, Victoria Avenue. As Mr Richardson only owned ohe share in the " Society, he became entitled to £150 free of interest, and another- marble was drawn. The second number was 969, owned Mrs E. Moult, Victoria Avenue, and as Mrs Moult owned more- than one share in the Society she became entitled to £300 free of interest. Neither of the successful members were present at the meeting, but had left written authorities accepting appropriations.
