PIRATE FOOTBALL CLUB.
SENIORS V. OLD TIMERS
Tim public are being well catered for this afternoon. Amongst the most interesting matches will be one between the present Pirate Football Club and a team representing ths Old Timers. The Old Timers are represented by several Old Tim© brilliant playei's, and will be strong enough to put the cup winners on their mettle. One has only to glance at the team on paper to convince them that it 'will' 'be a hard match. Given fine weather, a real gocd game should eventuate. The following are the teams:—Senior—Smith. Abbott, McFetrish. Williamson, Holland, Mitchell, Dowe, Nicholson* Gill Richardson, S. Phillipd. Carroll, Dustin, Seeling. Rylands, Irvine, and Lambert. In the evening,;following the match, a reunion will ,be"liel!f in the Fire Brigade Hall, commencing at >- o'clock sharp, and a real good time is being looked forward to. A' small charge will be made for admission to tho ground, which will be devoted to the Wanganui Rugby Union Ranfurly Shield touring fund. The following will represent the Banks in their match against tfhe Ironmongers this afternoon at 3 o'clock on the Recreation Ground:—Thomson, Littlejohn, Jones, McDonald (21), Qnigley, McLean. Murphy. Darley, Dickson, Barkman, Bakewell, Baddeley. The Hardware team will be represented by—A.~ Coleman, Bidlake, Miller, Armstrong) Paul, Corbv. Doughty, McCaul Kiely. McGre-. gor, BLackott, Notman, Marshall, Northover, and Langridge.
