WANGANUI GOLF CLUB.

On Thursday next (Dominion Day) the Wanganui Golf Club will hold a bogey handicap. All members of the club will be handicapped, and the handicaps and conditions will b? posted in the golf house on Wednesday. Members are requested to make up their own pairs; and they may play off either in the morning or the afternoon. the olub championships have just been decided, Class A championship falling to D. Meldrum. who had a very close contest with G. Saunders in the final; and t-lass B to T. Allison, Good being the runner-up. Of the fifteen matches in class B division, there was not one which was not closely contested, and the scores denote that there has been a great improvement indeed in the standard of play amongst the players in that division* during the season.
