CLARKSON'S END-OF-YEAR CYCLE SALE.
Mr. W. Clarkson, of sterling value cycle fame, intimates his intention of holding an end-of-year auction sale tomorrow (Tuesday, 31st December), when tho whole of his stock of bicycles, together with others of cheaper grades and second-hand machines, avill be offered to the public absolutely without reserve. Clarkson's rooms are in the Avenue, right opposite Chavannes' Hotel, and the sale there will commence at 2.30 p.m. sharp. The announcement as to the sale will be found in another column, and is well worthy of perusal by all interested.
SUCCESSFUL MILKING- MACHINE. Writing 'in reference to the " Law-rence-K,ennedy-GUlies " Milking Machine, Mr. John Mathieson, of Tomahawk, says: " I have come to the conclusion that the money was well invested installing the 'L.K.G.' I have been using four machines, and can honestly say have. found no ill effects after the second year's milking on thesame cows. I have tried the cows afc intervals, and always found the quantity fully more with the machine than by hand.
