HASTINGS, December 30.
At the Magistrate's Court, Charles Hannah, a harvester, was committed for trial on a charge of attempting tol discharge a. revolver at William Morris, a fellow employee, at Fernhill. The evidence showed that Morris's wife, who '.was a. cook at the station, refused to cook a hot dinner in the evening. Hannah objected to a cold dinner, and Morris attempted to pull the objector's nos-o. Hanna.li left and returned with a loaded revolver, which he is alleged to have pointed at Mop-is, but the cartridges being old, it missed fire.
