REES-JOXES—GRUAR
A very pretty wedding, and one in which considerable interest was manifested, was solemnised at Trinity \\<?sloyan Church on Saturday. morning. Tho contracting parties were Miss Elizabeth Florence Moreton Gruar, eldest daughter of Mr William Gruar, of Wanganui and Mr. W. Rees-Jones, of Wellington, son of Mr. John RoesJones, " San Delyn," Carnarvon, North Wales. The Rev. J. G." Chapman was the officiating clergyman. The service was fully choral. The bride, who was given away by her father, was attended by her three sisters, Misses Violet, Olive, aud Ida Gruar. The duties ot best man were carried out by Mr. Fred W Gruar, cousin of the bride. As the bridal party entered the church the choir sang " The Voice that Breathed O'er E<len," and Mr. Stewart Austin, tho organist, played the "Wedding March as the party left the sacred edifice. At the conclusion of tho ceremony tho wedding party adjourned to tho residence (Wicksteed Street) of the ■bride's parents, where a reception was held in a large marquee erected on the lawn. Among the guests present were relatives of friends from Wellington, Nelson Auckland, Hawera, New Flymouth." Marton, and other towns. Mr. and Mrs. R-ees-Jones, who received a very largo number of particularly nice presents left by the South express en routo for Christ-church, where the honeymoon will be spent. They, will then go to Wellington, where ■; thenhome will be. With their many friends we wish them all happiness.
