I EXHIBITION OF WORK

; An exhibition of school -work will be held in the above school, commencing to-morrow afternoon. The art .section yrill be well represented by both paintings and black and white work. Tn& crait« i will have a very good and representative 1 series of exhibits in wood-carving, metal :< work, leather embossing, and modelling lin clay. Engineering will be well to I the fore with its engines, tools, etc., as ; well as an exceptionally fine show of \ mechanical 'drawings. Carpentery and j joinery, painting and-decorating, an# ] plumbing will also be well represented. | Ladies will be interested in the work of the girls in dressmaking and millinery. The exhibition aims, not-at showing perfect, finished work only, but" the ordinary studies and work oa the various classes. We would urge. everyone to. j pay the exhibition a visit for the sake ' of seeing what a. finely equipped school | we have in. Wanganui, and also encour- | aging the students, who put so much I time and energy into their work. A, [ small charge will be made for admission.
