THE NAVY LEAGUE.

During the.late election campaign it was the intention of Lieut. Knpx, R.N., to have lectured here: on the above subject, but owing to the Drill Hall and Opera House being otherwise engaged was quite prevented from doing so. We are pleased now to be able to inform our readers that owing to Lieut. Knox having made arrangements to prolong his visit to New Zealand he will give lectures in most of the principal towns, including Wanganui. As a lecturer Lieut. Knox is quite a host in himself. We would earnestly recommend our'fellow citizens, both old and young, to retain the evening of the 15th January free, the night,of Lieut. Knox's lecture. Wo would add that the lantern views to bo shown are most beautiful.
