SEVENTH ANNUAL GENERAL
MEETING
Thoro were a fair number of members present at the above* meeting which wan held in tho Society's rooms, 75, Ridgway Street, last evening. Mi" J Thorn presided.
MINUTES.—The minutes of the last annual general meeting were read and confirmed.
REPORT AND BALANCE 91-lEET. —Mr Thorp formally moved cho adoption, and in doing so congratulated the Society on the success that had attended tho year's working. Tito Society continued to do gcod work and in «:v.e'i-y instance ample security was b«i/j from members having loans. Mr A. E. Smith seconded the motion, which, vn being put by the chairman, v:p.s car-; ried unanimously.
ELECTION OF DIRECTORS- TJu^ro being no other nominations. Messrs T; Dixoni.N, Meuli, J. Tho^ and JL G. Caddy were declared: duly/ e Tected;
ELECTION OF AUDITOR —Thrre h eing no. other nomination, M r. J &. .Morton, the retiring auditor, was doclafed. duly, elected.
BALLOT APPROPRIATION,-An rppropriatipn;; of £300 in two, siims: of £l<so each-, was then proceeded, with Messrs Dayidge".-and Burrett. wera ap- . .pointed , scruiineers, and Mr F. H. Qhristie -3rew_ ths marble, the lucky number proving to be 609, the owner -otf which^ l>einK the holder of two shares, was declared entitled to the full vnmount.of;£3oo. :
