Received January 5, 11.25 p.m. ST. PETERSBURG, January 5.

The plct, the discovery of which was cabled yesterday, was discovered after M. Milinkoff's protest against the sentences of.death which had been passed on 32 workmen for participating in a railway strike at Ekaterinoslaff .in 1905. These men were court-martialled after having quietly pursued their avocations for three years.

Tho i ewspapers have been protesting against numerous other death sentences. Fourteen executions occurred yesterday at Lodz, Nijninovgorod, and 15 death sentences were carried out elsewhere.
