The Putiki is expected to arrive here to-day with a cargo of coals from Westport. This morning the Moa brings a cargo of-coal from Westport. Owing to the inclement weather the loading of the Wanganui cargo on, the ♦ Star of New Zealand has been considerably delayed, and she is not expected to leave for Gisborne until this evening. The Kennedy, overdue from Greymonth, arrived here yesterday morning. She sailed for Westport and Nelson last evening. The Whakatane, en route fromTLondon to Dunedin. left Capetown on New Year's Eve, and is due in Otago- waters - about January 28th.
