WELLINGTON, December 3. Following is the Rev. D. C. Bates' summary and forecast:—The weather has beea. v< ry -changeable, and somewhat sujtry. Moderate to strong easterly winds liave prevailed over the North Island, and Northerly in the South, ■though on the Eojst Coast\ string routherlies Lave prevailed to-day Tliis disturbance, which has passed over the South, will be followed, by a storm area, now advancing over the Tasman Sea-, which wii< probably envelope the whole country Ly Sunday evening. Northerly Minds, strong to gale, cloudyy and unsettled weather, with rain soon probable everywhere.
