COUNTRY'S CLUBS
The following notes are taken from a well-known football weekly— Colonial talent predominates in the Huddersfield three-quarter line, where Wrigley and Rosengeld hay on more than one occasion been seen to advantage. The New Zcalnnder has already 34 points to his credit this season, and is selected to represent his adopted county at Maryport next Saturday. Rosenfeld has ■snorud 24 points, his "most successful came of the season being in the cuptie against Hull Kingston Rovers. Notts Rugby secured their first victory of the "season at Beeston, but, although they mode a better showing than against Moseley, a far higher standard of play is required. The final decision was postponed. But several w"ho were last season oppossd to the visit now admit that the fituation in Australia and New Zealand is so promising that a tour noxt reason is opportune. Several communications were read at the mooting from rosi'lents in the colony, and recent arrivals in this country, and all were optimistic to a degree. In any case the Union cannot be accused of undue haste in making up their minds, but tho air is now. cleared as regards tne preliminaries.
