ME LEASEHOLDERS' CAMPAIGN.
AN EARLY COMMENCEMENT
(Special to the " Chronicle."
WELLINGTON, December 6. As already stated, the leaseholders propose carrying on an active plat:orm campaign in both town and country in opposition to the Land Bill. A start will be made at Hastings on Friday next, Avhere a public meeting iviJl be addressed in response to an invitation from a number of Crown tenants. The speakers will be Messrs Arnold, Hanan, and McLaren, Ms.P., xp.d the Hon. J. T. Paul, M.L.C.
