FURTHER PROTESTS.

DUNEDIN, December 7

The Presbytery, on the motion of the Rev. Scorgie, unanimously entered an emphatic protest against the Government's proposal to open canteens in connection .with the military camps for the compulsory training of the youths of the Dominion. The Taieri pastors present resolved to wire the Hon. T. Mackenzie urging him to oppose the opening of-the canteens.
