County Council, axe invited and will be received up till noon on MONDAY, the 10th Day of JANUARY, 1910, at the Office of the .Waitotara County Council, Ridgway Street, Wanganui, where Plans, Specifications, and Conditions, etc., can be seen for the following works :— Contract No. —Building; Bridge (three spans stringer structure on piles), over the Kaimanuka stream, and building small Bridge (one span stringer structure on piles) ' over stream at the Provincial boundary between Taranaki and Wellington Provinces, on the Upper Waitotara Road. Contract No. —Building Makakaho Bridge (one truss span 70 feet, and two stringer spans 20 feet each). Lengtn over all (114 ft. 6in.) one hundred and fourteen feet six inches. The sites for these proposed bridges are in the Upper Waitotara District in the! Kapara Riding of the Patea County. The County Council shall suppl> and deliver on the ground, near the sites, the ironbark, Jarrah, and totara required for building these bridges. The Contractor shall supply all ironbark, staging, paint, tar, labour, tools, and plant, and all necessary gear except the pile frame, monkey and crab winch, which shall be supplied by the County Council. The Kaimanuka Bridge site is about 22 miles from Waitotara Township; the Provincial boundary about 25 miles; and the Makakaho about 28 miles from the Waitotara Township. E. C. HORNER, __ Clerk.
