' The Huia arrived yesterday morning from Wellington, and .sailed again in the evening. . Tho Star of Scotland arrived in the roadstead at 3.25 a.m. yesterday. Loading was finished last night, and the steamer should sail early this morning for Gisborne. The Stormbird and Arapawa left Wellington yesterday afternoon, so should get in here early this morning. . The Defender sailed from Wellington at 7.40 lasl evening, so should arrive hsre this morning. . She sails for Hokitika from here. Tho Storm was to , sail from Wellington at 8 o'clock last night, and if she did so should get in here this morning. The Rimu left Onehunga yesterday afternoon. She is due here to-morrow. The Papanui arrived at Wellington yesterday" morning. Mr R. Grono has joined the Wakatu as mate in place of Mr N. A. Olsen. . As the Maheno was leaving the Hobson Street wharf • (Auckland) for Sydney on Monday night a boat on the starboard side struck the bridge on the steamer Koromiko. The boat was torn from the davits and fell on the deck. Part of the Koromiko's bridge and part of the Maheno's railing were carried away.
