WANGANUI BOY SCOUTS.
CONCERT ON THURSDAY NIGHT.
Next Thursday evening is being looked forward to by every member of the J3oy Scouts. The Garrison Band have very kindly consented to givel a benefit -concert in aid of the Scout Uniform .Fund, at Ccok's Gardens, where it is hoped a large number or" people will assemble to hear the Band, who are preparing an exceptionally good programme, which will be published shortly. It is intended to form a grand procession of Boy Scouts,, headed by the Band, as an additional attraction. During the intervals at the concert the .Boy Scouts will take part in sending up messages from the base, which may be j.ei'n by all present. Members of the Scouts will be at •each entrance on the alert to sell and -collect tickets, it having been decided "by the Executive to charge 6d admission. Children under 12 free.
