Arrived—Kapiti, 9 a.m., from Wan.gnnui. HOKITIKA, Sunday. Arrived—Defender, 9 a.m., from Wanganui. SYDNEY, Sunday. Arrived—James Craig, from Kopu. MELBOURNE, December 12. Arrived —Moeraki'. Sailed, December 11.—Warrimoo. FREMANTLE, Sunday. Arrived —Waihore, from Westport.
The Stormbird arrived on Saturday .morning and sailed again in the evening. The Kapiti sailed on Saturday evening for Patea. She loads cheeses there for Wellington. .. Tha' Regulus sailed on Saturday night for Westport. She is due here again to-morrow. She returns to Westport, thence to Dunedin, to go into dry dock. The Kapuni arrived from Puponga yesterday morning r The Arapawa is due to-morrow irom Wellington. The Huia, which has been having her propeller adjusted in Wellington, was -expected to leave that port on Saturday. She should be here to-day. The crew of the Union Company s training ship Dartford has been paici ■ off at Newcastle. The apprentices and .officers are-standing by the vessel.
