WELLINGTON, Wednesday. Arrived—Arapawa (10.0 a.m.), and Huia (10.5 a.m.), from Wanganui. Warrimoo (1210 pm.j, from Sydney. Sailed —Opawa (6.10 a.m.), for London.

SYDNEY, December 15 Sailed —Daniel, for Timaru. MELBOURNE, December 15, Sailed —Moeraki.

The Stormbird arrived yesterday morning. She loaded wool and sailed again in the evening.

The Storm arrived with a general cargo yesterday. She returns south today.

The Regulus arrived yesterday morning: with 460 tons of coal for the Freezing Works. She will Sail again to-night or to-morrow morning. The Arapawa is expected to leave Lyttelton to-night, and is due here on Tuesday.

The Mana will take up the running of the Arapawa this week,, and is due here to-morrow.

The cargo in No. 2 hold of the Sussex, which fell in with a succession of hurricane gales after leaving the Cnpo of Good Hope, suffered considerably. Most of the Lyttelton cargo was stowect in this hold, and the Christchurch Press Rfiys the working of the ship in the terrific seas wrought sad havoc to cases and packages, which were chafed and broken to matchwood, the contents, consisting of cornflour, coffee essence, candles, nails, bolts, twine, and rope, and other merchandise.being mixed up in a hopeless mess, the mixture in the hold presenting" an extraordinary , sight.
