TRADES COUNCIL SUPPORT,

WELLINGTON, December 28. Speaking shortly before midnight, the Leader of the Opposition referred to the shoal of telegrams he had been receiving regarding the stand taken by the Opposition. He had, he said, just that moment received a m-essago that l.ad bee:i handed in at Auckland at 10.lv p.m. to the following effect:— "Trades Council Dominion Executive congratulate you upon the stand taktvi in rerarcl tit 1 c vota regarding Financial Advher."
Sir Joseph Ward: Who is it sent by? Mr Massey: By the Secretary of the Trades Council.
Sir Joseph Ward: What's his mine? Mr Massey: His name h Moxhain.
Siv Joseph Ward : That's all rio;lit. Mr Massey: Yes, its all right for me. its not all right for the lion, gentleman.
