Mr Ronald Paul arrived in town yesterday from New Plymouth and is staying at Chavannes’ Hotel A Dunedin wire states that Mr J. R. Morris, for many years City Valuer, died yesterday morning after a long ill-
ness. The Napier Presbytery yesterday sustained the call of the Rev A. Whyte (Havelock) to Port Chalmers. Professor J. McMillan Brown, who has been travelling in South and Central America and Mexico, is expected to return to Christchurch about the end of next month.
