There are no fresh developments in the shipping dispute, the parties 'awaiting to-morrow's conference in anticipation that an amicable agreement will permit early resumption! of work. The wharf labourers at Melbourne are likely to prove a stumbling block. They are determined not to resume except under pre-war conditions, and may embroil other unions.
