"THE CAST OFF."
At His Majesty Theatre to-night bonnie Bessie Barriscale will be seen in the first of a geries of new productions by the Foursquare Corporation, entitled "The, Cast Off." Tne story tells of an girl who receives very unpleasant treatment in the boarding house wbcre she is working and eventually has to leave. Later, when she has achieved fame on the stage and 'is the rage of the fashionable society, in-; man who had been responsible for her plight at the boarding house, wishes .0 Lecorae one of her admirers, notwithstanding that he is now a married man with a young child. The actress determines to be revenged upon him, but a chance meeting with the child arouses the mother-love in her heart and forces her to forego her revenge. In doing so she finds happiness with a man whom she loves. The play is in six parts, and there are some splendid supports.
