PATEA ASSEMBLY
A very enjoyable assembly was held in Patea on Friday night. The music of the Premier Orchestra kept the dancers going till early mornir.g Among those present were: Mrs. Roberts, mauve charmeuse, draped side; Mrs. S. Brewer, pink taffeta with gold triming; Mrs. Simmons, red charmeuse and gold trimming; Mrs. Richardson, orange and biack velvet; Mrs. B. Harvey, green shot taffeta with tiny frills; Miss Hady Birch (Wanganui), pink crepe de chine draped at side; Miss Gardener, pale pink crepe de chine; Miss M. Gower, apricot velvet; Miss Hayes (Hawera), black charmeuse; MioS P. Speedy, green shot taffeta with tiny frills; Miss Mary Ball, red and gold brocade, draped at sides; Miss . I. Mayswore. blaek erepe de chine and lace; Miss Hopkinson, pale pink taffeta with silver bertha; Miss Bremer, white taffeta; Miss Hunter, black crepe de chine and lace; Miss Rita Howie, white charmeuse; and Messrs Wyatt, F. Kingsford, Harvey, P. Brewer and R. Laurence.
