UNDER BOLSHEVIK RULE
RUSSIAN POSITION BECOMING WORSE GERMAN GOVERNMENT WATCHING. Received June 11, 8.30 p.m. LONDON, June 11. The Daily Telegraph’s political observer says: The British Government is now in possession of a full explanation from the Wilhelmstrasse regarding the position of Germany and Rus--1 sia. The German Government is fully I alive to the advantages of trade with ; Russia, but affirms that Bolshevik proi paganda is increasing. It declares [that it holds proof of every move of , the German Communists, including an (active rebellion that was to have been undertaken on direct orders from Moscow'. German information is that the internal situation in Russia is becoming worse. The extremists are sweeping all moderates out of influence and office. Every German firm which stayed long enough in Russian business has been ruined by a system of extortion, bribery and corruption which denies safety to personal property.
