POISONING MYSTERY. SON SUSPECTED OF KILLING HIS MOTHER. Received June 11, 7.30 p.m. LONDON, June 11. The Daily Express says: William Lawrie King, aged 22, has been arrested in Ediriburgh in connection with the death of his mother, who is the wife of a prominent chartered accountant and vice-moderator of the High Constable of Edinburgh, one of the most ancient bodies in Scotland. Mr and Mrs King, after attending a theatre on June 30, had supper, and became violently ill. Mr King recovered, but Mrs King died in agony during the night.
