CURE FOR CANCER

QUALIFYING STATEMENT Received June 11, 7.30 p.m. NEW YORK, June 10. In regard to the alleged cancer cure, the Philadelphia Public Ledger publishes a qualifying statement from two Philadelphia specialists, Drs. Warmuth and Donnelly, who have been working with Dr. Glover. They regret that an announcement was made before experimental work made the discovery so certain that the results would be given to the medical profession, for this point has not yet been reached. Dr. Warmuth said: “Very advanced, and what are ordinarily called hopeless cases, will have little to expect from the new treatment. We can, et only enough serum to treat experimenrral eases, and do not know when tho general public can be supplied in a manner like insulin. It takes eighteen months to immunize a horse, so that serum production is slow. AUSTRALIAN GOVERNMENT INVESTIGATING. MELBOURNE, June 11. The Health Department has cabled to the Australian Commissioner at New York asking him to investigate immediately the reported discovery of a cure for cancer by Dr. Glover. Mr. Bruce states that the Federal Government will spare no efforts to ascertain the merits of Dr. Glover’s methods and research.
