HAMILTON BOROUGH. A SUCCESSFUL YEAR. I Per Press ABEOc'atJcjn. I HAMILTON, May 31. The restoration of the 10 per cent, cut on wages and salaries of borough employees was decided on by the Hamilton Borough Council last evening. The Mayor (Mr. J. R. Fow) in introducing the proposals said that the year had been one of remarkable success in the financial administration in the town and in view of the general recovery of confidence and the marked improvement in business conditions it had been decided to reduce the rates and restore the salary cuts and also embark on ad-i permanent work expenditure
