BEADY RESPONSE MET WITH ADELAIDE, Juno 6. Within a few hours £500,000 was subscribed for the loan and by tho end of the day the subscriptions totalled £750,000. South Australia decided not to take part in the Federal loan, as it was able to raise the money on cheaper terms through the State Savings Bank.
