The chief complaint concerns the financing of the Democratic Party deficit from National Recovery funds, and that it is reported to be impossible to get relief funds unless a contribution lie made to the party, or to various lobbying agencies. The Detroit motor manufacturers refused to pay when asked. Many States report similar occurrences. The Home Loan Owners’ Corporation is said to be the worst offender and charges are made in the Senate that Reconstruction Finance Corporation loans are made available only through political influence.
