Although unsuccessful in the five-a side tournament held at Feilding oi the King’s Birthday, both teams frou the Ohakea Ladies’ Hockey Clu played first-class hockey. The A tear was unlucky enough to play its firs game against Halcombe A, the tourne. winners, Halcombe winning by 2 goal to 1. High School Old Girls beat Oha kea by a goal to nil. and Ohakea am Palmerston North Old Girls drew, on goal each. Ohakea B team lost t 1 Rangiwahia B. the scores being on ” goal to nil. and Ohakea drew with Coly ton B.
