Return to an Order of the House of Representatives, dated 13th July, 1892. Ordered, " That a Report be furnished to the House on the Milford Sound convict-labour experiment, giving full details of the time occupied, the amount of money expended, the relative cost of labour, superintendence, buildings, and transit; the quantity and estimated value of the work performed; and containing copies of any reports or ■correspondence which led to the experiment being made."—(Mr. Hogg.)
