Ordered, " That there be laid before this House a return showing—(l) The number of Maoris and half-castes of both sexes who have applied for old-age pensions up to 30th June, 1899; (2) the number of pension-certificates issued to Maoris and half-castes of both sexes up to same date."—(Mr. Hebbibs.)
