RAILWAY EMPLOYEES (RETURN SHOWING NUMBER AND WAGES OF).
Return to an Order of the House of Representatives dated the 10th July, 1902. Ordered, " That there be laid before this House a return showing,—(l.) Total of men employed by the Railway Department at Ist April, 1902. (2.) Total employees—(a) In Division 1; (b) in Division 1 who are permanent; (c) in Division 1 who are oasuals or temporary; (d) in Division 2 ; (c) in Division 2 who are permanent; (/) in Division 2 who are casuals or temporary. (3.) Total amount of wages paid in each separate class as above, showing separately the amount paid to casual and permanent hands in each class." —(Mr. Miliab.)
