NATIVE LAND COURT (ORDER OF THE) UNDER SUBSECTION (10) OF SECTION 14 OF "THE NATIVE LAND COURT ACT, 1894."
Laid before Parliament pursuant to Subsection (10) of Section 14 of " The Native Land Court Act, 1894."
1/138. 329 W. " The Native Land Court Act, 1894." In the Native Land Court of New Zealand, Auckland District. MATAMATA NORTH. In the matter of an Order in Council bearing date the 4th day of December, 1901, conferring jurisdiction upon the Court under subsection (10) of section 14 of " The Native Land Court Act, 1894 " ; and in the matter of the land known as Matamata North, situate near Cambridge, containing 2,633 acres 1 rood, hitherto held under order for Crown grant dated the 29th day of October, 1884. At a silting of the Court held at Cambridge on the 18th day of September, 1905, before Herbert Frank Edger, Esquire, Judge, and Te Kanapu Haerehuka, Assessor. Upon inquiry made into the nature of the title to the said land, and into the existence (if any) of an intended trust, it appearing that such a trust does exist, and that there has been no alienation other than a lease, mortgage, or contract for sale upon which the purchase-money has not been paid : It is ordered that the persons named in the schedule marked " A," hereto attached, and therein numbered respectively from one to fifty-four, both inclusive, are the persons beneficially entitled under the said trust, with relative interests as therein set out, subject to any existing lease, mortgage, or contract for sale. And it is further ordered that the instruments of title set out in the schedule hereto be and the same are hereby cancelled so far as affects the land known as Matamata North ; and that the said land be vested in the persons so beneficially entitled as aforesaid.
