NATIVE LANDS VESTED IN THE MAORI LAND BOARDS UNDER PART I OF THE NATIVE LANDS SETTLEMENT ACT, 1907, AND THE CORRESPONDING PROVISIONS OF THE NATIVE LAND ACT, 1909.
Return to an Order of the House of Representatives dated the 3rd August, 1910. Ordered, " That there be laid before this House a return showing up to 30th June, 1910—(1) Tbe area of Native land vested in each Maori Land Board under Part I of the Native Land Settlement Act, 1907, and its amendments, and the corresponding sections of the Native Land Act, 1909 ; (2) the area of such land in each Maori land district, divided in accordance with section 11 of the Native Land Settlement Act, 1907, and the corresponding sections in subsequent Acts, showing the area set apart for sale and for leasing ; and (3) the total area in each Maori land district of such land that has been leased or soli to Europeans, or leased to Maoris." —(Mr. Herries.)
