Received from the Hon. the Native Minister, by the hands of Charles Heaphy, V.C., Commissioner of Native Reserves, the sum of one hundred and ninety-three pounds ten shillings and one penny, being full payment, to the Ist April, 1874, of the amount owing to us as "Ten per cents. " of proceeds of land sales in the Mangawhai Block, in the Province of Auckland, according to the contract set forth in the deed of cession by us to Her Majesty Queen Victoria, dated the 3rd March, 1854.
