In addition to the above reserves, Sir Donald McLean made a reserve of 1,000 acres (afterwards extended to 1,500 acres) for Pepe Heke and the Ahitahi people ; 1,000 acres for Whakataka (Toi); and 1,000 acres for the Ngatitupaea. These are now included in the Tirotiromoana reserve of 10,000 acres, made by Major Brown (see No. 6).
