Vouchee No. 1203.—New Plymouth, 9th July, 1878. —Eequired the sum of £2,000 sterling, as an advance for compensation for West Coast confiscated land and land purchase, at Bank of New Zealand, Patea.- —Chas. Patea, 16th July, 1878. —I hereby acknowledge to have received from the Paymaster-General, by cheque numbered 6826, the sum of £2,000 sterling, being an advance for payments as above, and for the expenditure of which sum I undertake to furnish to the Paymaster-General true and satisfactory accounts and vouchers. —Chas.
