Christchurch, sth January, 1881. John Maeshman, Treasurer. Auditoe's Ceetificate. —I certify that I have audited this account and find it to be correct, and that the balance at the credit of the School Commissioners with the Bank of New Zealand, Christchurch, on the 31st December, 1880, was as herein stated. —J. WESTLAND. Sib,— 30th March, 1881. The Commissioners have the honor to make the following report of their administration during the past year. No resignations have taken place during the year; consequently the members remain the same as at the termination of the year 1879. The Commissioners have held fourteen meetings during the year, seven of which were special meetings. The principal revenue is still derived from the Kumara Education Reserve, the amount received from other sources during the year being only £6. The whole revenue actually received during the year amounted to £298 165., but at the end of the year there was a sum of £521 10s. due for rents for 1880-81. The delay in the payment of these rents is believed to have arisen in part from the notion which seems to have been entertained,
