NELSON. In forwarding the statement of accounts for the year 1881, the School Commissioners have nothing to state as to the issue of leases for reserves in addition to those referred to in their report for the year 1880. With respect however to the fund which has accumulated from the revenues derived from reserves for secondary education, now amounting to £657 6s. 2d., they have to report that they are in negotiation with the Governors of the Nelson College for the establishment of high school for girls.
