Referring to my letter No. 612, of 29th ultimo, forwarding catalogue of the exhibits of New Zealand wools at the Exhibition at the Crystal Palace, I have the honor to enclose list of exhibits which have been added since the catalogue was prepared. No. 3. The Agent-Geneeal to the Hon. the Colonial Seceetaet. Sib, — 7, Westminster Chambers, London, S.W., 6th September, 1881. I have the honor to transmit to you herewith a copy of the circular announcement just published by the Crystal Palace Company of the Jurors' awards in the Wool Exhibition. Tou will observe that the'following awards have been made to the Government: One gold medal for the best specimen of cross-bred wool; five silver medals for other exhibits ; four bronze medals for other exhibits. I expect to receive the medals shortly, and will then deliver to Mr. Gollan, Messrs. Dalgety, Du Croz, and Co., and Sir Charles Clifford, those which were awarded for their exhibits : the others I shall send out to you, to be dealt with as you may think fit. The exhibition being now, for practical purposes, at an end, I shall take immediate steps for removing our exhibits and selling the wool. I have, &c, The Hon. the Colonial Secretary, Wellington. . P.
