No. 18. The Agent-General to the Hon. the Colonial Teeasueee. Sir, — 7, Westminster Chambers, London, S.W., 6th March, 1884. I have tho honour to inform you that up to tho present time tho following sums have been credited to the Loan Agents' account by tho Bank of England, on account of the second million of the loan :On tho 16th January, £50,000; 23rd January, £455,000; Ist February, £108,000; 28th February, £20,000; sth March, £125,000. And the following sums have been transferred by the Loan Agents to the credit of the Public Account: On tho 16th January, £45,000; 23rd January, £450,000; 2nd February, £8,000; 4th February, £108,000; 3rd March, £20,000; 6th March, £125,000. No. 19. The Agent-Geneeal to the Hon. tho Colonial Tbeasusee. Sm, — 7, Westminster Chambers, London, S.W., Ist May, 1884. Since writing to you on the 6th March (No. 136), informing you of the amounts which had been credited to the Loan Agents by the Bank of England on account of the second million, tho following sums have also been credited—viz. : 17th March, £28,000; 27th March, £40,000; Bth April, £100,000: 22nd April, £20,000; 30th April, £10,000. And the following sums have been transferrred to the credit of the Public Account—viz. : 18th March, £25,000; 28th March, £40,000; 9th April, £100,000 ; 23rd April, £20,000 ; Ist May, £10,000.
